• This initiative is being run by the founder of Muskaan Foundation.. Mrs. DEEPTI Mirani of Raipur Chattisgarh.

• The long-term goal of the initiative is to convert this pathshala into a full-fledged school.

The aim of this Pathshala is to provide supplementary education to those children who cannot afford private coaching or tuitions but need guidance after school hours to do well in their studies by Providing Quality Education to Children from Poor Families in Raipur.

Often students who have the ability and skills also have to forego their fundamental right to education because of the lack of resources .To end this disparity Mrs. DEEPTI MIRANI started an initiative where the students of 10th std and above teach the younger class students... by this there is source of income for the children teaching as well as the needy children are being educated... it has become a cycle as well as motivation for the students to study as well...We provide free education to students who cannot afford quality education in private or state-run institutions.

We also have children who are in 9th grade but donot know how to join words and read... This part becomes the biggest demotivation to continue studying as they cannot clear board exams.

The pattern of teaching and the process is discussed with the teachers and are given a short training by the Founder herself and then the children are taught by our teachers... Every weekend there is a small assessment to see where the children stand and if required we repeat the weekly course again... We make it a point that their basics and logics are clear...

Like any other school these children Celebrate every special occasion like festivals, special days. Birthdays etc.

From this year we plan to take them on annual picnics as well...
